Stone.gs is a personal, non-commercial hobby project. This page sets out the terms for using it, the services it is not affiliated with, and the work it builds on. By using stone.gs or the Stone.gs desktop app, you agree to these terms.
No affiliation
Stone.gs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Online-Go.com (OGS), Fox Weiqi (野狐围棋) or Tencent, Google, or the KataGo project. Their names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to refer to their services.
The OGS stone mark comes from OGS's own repository. The Discord and Reddit icons come from their official brand assets.
Third-party game services
Play on OGS. Games you play on OGS through Stone.gs run on OGS, and the OGS Terms of Service apply to them.
Play on Fox. Stone.gs is an unofficial Fox client, not affiliated with or endorsed by Fox Weiqi or Tencent. Use it at your own risk. Fox's own rules apply to games you play there.
Watching OGS, Fox and Pandanet games. Stone.gs shows certain live public games from OGS, Fox and Pandanet as they were played on those servers.
Game records and puzzles
Professional game records. A game record is a factual account of who played and which moves were made. Stone.gs shows only the moves and basic game details (players, ranks, event, date and result), and not any commentary that came with the records.
Puzzles. Each puzzle collection credits its original source.
If you hold rights in something shown on Stone.gs and want it credited differently or removed, please contact us.
AI analysis
Stone.gs's AI uses KataGo by David J Wu ("lightvector") and its neural networks from katagotraining.org. The networks are used under the KataGo Neural Network License.

Terms of use
Play fairly. Don't use AI or other outside help in games against other people, and don't harass, threaten or abuse anyone. We may remove accounts, games or listings that break these rules.
No warranty. To the extent permitted by law, Stone.gs is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. In no event shall its authors be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from, out of, or in connection with the service or its use.
Changes. We may change these terms and will post any changes on this page with a new date.
